Shade grew the company gradually from its humble roots to its present day success. Now located on East Joppa Road in Baltimore, Shade Construction is a staple in Maryland’s commercial construction industry with a bonding capacity in excess of $35 million. Co-owner and Executive Vice President Nicholas L. Verdis and Vice President Michael Drouin have been with Shade Construction for 36 years and 33 years respectively and provide a tried-and-true and stable approach to estimating, project managing, and general contracting. Senior project managers have an average tenure of over 30 years with the company.
